Wow! Really nice pics! You really celebrate CNY on a grand scale, I see. All the elaborate decor and what not!
Mine very toned-down, pension already - must cut corners. Decor also, buy cheap ones!
Bought RM1.50 for two - the hang-up type, the shopkeeper gave me new ones still in sealed plastic bags...but when I reached home, I found they were not assembled yet...and I dunno Mandarin - did not know what order those Chinese characters should be! LOL!!!! Had to go and ask people!!!
Oops...not too late! Gong Xi Fa Cai, Xin Nien Kuai Le to you and your family!
STP: Most of the decor are accumulated from many years. We bought a pair of new lantern (RM19.90 for a pair) and hubby assembled it. It is actually very easy. At first, I thought of asking the towkay to assemble it but later hubby says it is much easier to carry it in the sealed plastic bags instead of carrying around two 18 inches lanterns. LOL
CNY is an important day especially in my hubby's family. I used to travel during this period but now I can't do it anymore. Have to respect my MIL.
Xin Nian Kuai Le to you and family too. Hope to meet you in Kuching one of this day.
