Rain, rain, go away
Update: Strange.... Why TV1, TV3, 8TV do not have any news about flood condition in Kuching?
Is the local government try to hide something?

The non-stop raining in Kuching since Friday is very worrying.
I am not worry about my place but my parents' and friends around Kuching.
Many places will be in danger of flood.
An ex-colleague of mine told me that Bau is in a very serious situation.
SMK Bau was closed in the evening of Friday.
The water had flooded the school field and for students safety, they evacuate the students and closed the school.
I guess tomorrow might be another off day for them.
Hubby called back to tell me that a lot of lower area in Batu Kawa are also hit by floods.
Many roads that link to his office are closed.
But he is now safe in office.
I kept calling home to get the latest update of the condition there.
So far, my parents had taken the precautions of moving the smaller vehicles to much higher place.
I left my Pajero for my father.
Luckily, I sent the car to him on Friday.
Now, he uses the car to commute between the lower ground and the higher one.
I remember in year 2004.
The water came into the house in less than two hours.
We couldn't move one of our sedan car due to the higher water.
Instead, we jacked up our car to avoid the water from flowing into the car seat and engine.
The water came into the house around 1 foot plus.
Not really high but enough to spoil a few pieces of our furnitures.
I hope the situation now will not be as worse as the one in year 2004.
If not, I am sure to see the government parties going to have a hard time to win more votes in the up coming Sarawak State election.

Sotong Boy: Hopefully but I doubt so. The weather forecast that Kuching will have heavy rain during CNY and might get another round of flood on the third day of CNY.
BengBeng: Expected the same situation in Sibu. Pray God everything will be ok soon.

Hi Choonie,
We are all concern about the weather. My wife now is stranded in Serian. She couldn't go to Kuching to see me. I pity her. The flood scares me too.

BN leaders on the buy election
The party wants to win the seat at all costs
Full concentration on winning the seat
Else it will be a slap on their faces
Floods in Kucing
It isn’t serious to BN
Blank out the TV coverage
Let the people here thinking otherwise
I had been into floods
Once my kampong got flooded
The water rose quickly within hour
Nothing could be saved in the dark morning
I once nearly got stuck in Temerloh
My car went through the flood prone area
When the locals gave the signal
Luckily for me I managed to restart my car
I reached Kuantan safely
So I can empathize
The floods rising in homes
Destroying properties headaches for many
Yet nothing will be done
It will repeat all over again
hope things r back to nornmal now in Kuching
